The morning in Guangzhou carries that distinctive Lingnan warmth in the air, with the occasional scent of tea wafting by. After breakfast, let's set out as early as possible to start our Guangzhou adventure. Today, you have a reservation for the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall with an admission window between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, followed by a reservation for the Cantonese Opera Art Museum between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Remember to bring your ID/passport for smooth entry. Please make sure not to miss your scheduled times! There's quite a bit of walking involved today, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

After breakfast, head out from the hotel and walk about 80 meters according to navigation to reach the Dajiangyuan(大江苑) bus stop. Take bus No. 204 and get off after 15 stops at Kangwang North Road(康王北路) station. Then, walk about 40 meters to arrive. The entire journey takes about 55 minutes. Upon arriving at the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, you can take in the essence of Lingnan architecture. Every brick and tile here tells a story of history. The exquisite wood, stone, and brick carvings, along with the colorful pottery and lime sculptures, will leave you in awe of the ancient craftsmen's superb skills. Strolling through the halls feels like stepping back into a prosperous era, allowing you to deeply appreciate the profound heritage of Lingnan culture.

Let's step inside to experience the charm of another form of Chinese opera. Between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, there's a free Cantonese opera performance inside the museum. After entering, it's recommended to go to the opera stage area first to watch the performance before visiting the other sections.

In the surrounding area, you can also sense the atmosphere where Lingnan culture and martial arts culture blend. Inside the building, you can follow the guided route for your visit. Be mindful as the indoor space is somewhat small – watch your head.

Today we start a new itinerary. First, we'll visit the Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King, a museum of great historical significance. It preserves the ancient and mysterious history of the Nanyue Kingdom. The museum houses numerous precious artifacts, from exquisite jade ware to unique bronze vessels, each seeming to tell the story of the Nanyue Kingdom's former glory. Wandering through the museum feels like hearing the echoes of history whispering in your ears, giving you a deeper understanding of the history of Guangzhou and the broader Lingnan region. After the museum, we'll proceed to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, one of the most historically bustling commercial centers in Guangzhou. In the evening, we'll head to the Canton Tower. This skyscraper, nicknamed "Little Waist," is an iconic landmark of Guangzhou. From the observation deck, you can overlook the beautiful cityscape of Guangzhou and feel the city's vibrancy and energy. Please remember to bring your ID/passport for today's trips as well. Your reservations for the Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King and the Canton Tower both require ID for entry. Your scheduled admission time for ascending the Canton Tower is between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Let's keep an eye on the time and make sure not to miss it.
